Before I ever filmed a wedding, I was a magician. I grew up around it; my father was a magician too, and by the time I was 13, I was performing internationally. I went on to headline shows on Carnival and Royal Caribbean, perform for icons like Betty White, Shailene Woodley, Valerie Bertinelli and even consult for magicians like David Blaine and David Copperfield. My world revolved around creating moments that made people feel something unforgettable.
In 2018, everything shifted. A family friend asked me to film their wedding, and I discovered a new kind of magic. The kind that isn’t rehearsed, but real; the way two people look at each other when they forget the world around them. From that day, I knew this was where I belonged.
Since then, I’ve filmed countless weddings and co-founded Next Chapter Film Co. with my best friend, Austin. Together, we craft wedding films that aren’t just documentation, they’re stories. Cinematic, emotional, and timeless.
What sets me apart as a filmmaker is the same thing that defined me as a magician: storytelling. I don’t just want you to remember your wedding day. I want you to feel it again. Every glance, every laugh, every tear, woven together into a film that suspends disbelief and makes your story unforgettable.
Austin Fields | Co-Founder
Hi, I’m Austin Fields; wedding filmmaker, storyteller, and yes, part of the W.C. Fields family. Growing up, I was surrounded by classic comedies, and my love for film only deepened as I discovered the sweeping adventure of Indiana Jones, the artistry of Kurosawa, and the whimsy of Amélie, Studio Ghibli, and Wes Anderson. Movies like these shaped the way I see stories; full of heart, character, and just a little bit of magic.
Speaking of magic, before I ever picked up a camera, I was performing as a magician at weddings and special occasions, creating joy and wonder for couples and their guests. Magic is also how I met James; we connected through performing, long before we ever dreamed of starting Next Chapter Films. That same spark I once found in sleight of hand, I later found in filmmaking the magic of capturing real moments and turning them into stories that last forever.
To sharpen my craft, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Film from the Seattle Film Institute. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to capture life’s most meaningful celebrations, always with the goal of creating a timeless film that feels as personal, emotional, and unforgettable as the day itself.
Amanda Kellogg | Our Life Coordinator
Amanda is the heart and anchor of our team. A proud mom to a spirited 7-year-old with type one diabetes and autism, and the high school sweetheart of her husband, James, she’s been building a life full of love, laughter, and a touch of order for more than 11 years of marriage (classic Virgo energy). When she’s not perfectly balancing schedules, you’ll find her lifting weights, curled up with a good book, or enjoying cozy moments with the family dog. She treasures connection most of all; whether it’s time spent with family or sharing life with close friends.
With a strong background in high-end customer service, Amanda brings both professionalism and warmth to her role behind the scenes. She manages the organization, logistics, and back-end coordination that keep everything running seamlessly; so the creative team can focus fully on capturing each couple’s story.
Her natural eye for detail and love of structure are the perfect counterpart to the team’s artistry. From keeping timelines on track to ensuring every deliverable arrives as promised, Amanda makes sure couples feel cared for every step of the way. Together with James and Austin, she helps form a team rooted in creativity, precision, and genuine heart.
